Appealing Your Seller Account’s Suspension to Jeff Bezos’ Team
When a listing or account is suspended or deactivated, Amazon gives us the main appeal route – the ‘Appeal’ or ‘Reactivate my account’ button. But there are times when this path does not work for various reasons – misunderstanding on the part of Seller Performance, the complexity of explanations, or appeal rejection with no explanation. In such cases, finding and being aware of the additional path to appeal is important.
Previously, a whole list of emails for Amazon teams excited to appeal to a variety of Amazon-related issues. Almost all of them have been deactivated, and some work with problems (for example, for the withdrawal process). The only mail that can still be used as an additional appeal path is the email of the Jeff Bezos team.
The main problems of this path:
- Requests can be left unanswered.
- Requests can be processed for up to a month.
- The response to the request may be the same refusal as from Seller Performance.
Handling Tips:
- Letters to Jeff’s team must be sent from the mail linked to the account.
- Be sure to write down why you sought help from this particular team.
- Be sure to attach or add to the text the PoA and the documents that were sent with it.
- The subject line should be short and to the point. It is allowed and recommended to use ‘URGENT’/’ASAP’ triggers.
How do you know that Jeff’s team has taken on a request?
A separate case will often be opened in the account on request. Less typically – a response will come in the mail.
What to do if Jeff’s team is not responding?
Alas, there is no way to force them to take the appeal to work. You need to understand that this is only an additional way of appealing, and they often ignore requests than accept them.
