Amazon Video Verification due to Product Authenticity Issues
Our client received a request for video verification to confirm identity and supply chain.
After analyzing the issue, we compiled the following set of documents:
1) Passport as the ID document for the contact person;
2) Articles of Organization and EIN as confirmation of an active business;
3) Credit card statements for the last 3 months before the suspension;
4) Bank account statements for the last 3 months before the suspension;
5) Utility Bill for the month before the suspension as address confirmation;
6) Invoices from 3P contractors as proof of user permissions on the account;
7) Invoices from suppliers for the last 365 days before the suspension date for those ASINs that led to the account’s suspension due to inauthenticity;
8) Proof of Delivery for the ASINs that led to the account’s suspension due to inauthenticity;
9) Import/export documentation for the same ASINs;
10) Licensing agreement with the rights holder for the ASINs mentioned above.
In addition to this documentation, we, together with the client, went through the key questions that an Amazon representative might ask during the video verification. According to the client’s statement after the video verification, the Amazon representative requested around 90% of the gathered documentation.
Therefore, if you’re facing a similar issue, which is currently quite common, and you feel unprepared for video verification, we’d be glad to assist through our website!
