Unable to Update an Image on Your Amazon Listing: How to Fix

Our case study starts with a client who could not change the images on his listing on the US marketplace. We received a lot of responses from Amazon for each request for letting him update the photos. New case – new response or the standard, “Wait 24-48 hours for an update,” but to no effect.

We have tried various methods, including:

– deleting ASINs for 24 hrs;

– uploading new flat files;

– sending new photos to the Amazon support specialist during the callback.

But the response was the same – the Amazon team, for their part, sees the new images in the backend, but they don’t reflect on the listing.

So, how did we fix this? The mechanism was roughly as follows: case with request – call – reviewing process – template response – case + images on the listings (to show which photos we see on our side and which should be after the change). In addition to persistence, we contacted a third-party service and briefly described the nature of the issue. After a month of work, everything was updated.

The main thing is to show how you see the listing from your side, show the difference between the old and new images, + explain everything in detail, point by point, in the appeal of the case. Besides appealing, show this to the Amazon specialist during the call so that he will send the information correctly to a special internal team.
