Related Accounts Suspension on Amazon: Case Study

Warm greetings from Solver,

We want to share a successful case resolution with you. Our client contacted us requesting the reactivation of his seller account. The seller account had been deactivated due to an association with another seller account that our client was unaware of.

We conducted a thorough investigation and discovered that our client had cooperated with a Virtual Assistant a year ago. As it turned out, the Virtual Assistant also provided services for other clients. Unfortunately, the Virtual Assistant neglected key rules for managing seller accounts, putting our client’s account at risk of deactivation. The Virtual Assistant accessed clients’ accounts from the same PC + IP address and used the same email address for user permission. These were common associations between accounts when sellers were unfamiliar with the related account, leaving no doubt about the erroneous deactivation.

We promptly collected supporting documentation, including the Virtual Assistant Services Agreement and Notice of Termination. Additionally, our company contacted the Virtual Assistant who had serviced our client a year ago to obtain the Confirmation Letter. After collecting all the supporting documentation, we compiled a detailed Plan of Action describing the erroneous account associations in the Root Cause. After that, we formulated Corrective and Preventive Actions that explained the steps taken to sever the connections between the accounts.

After four days, the seller account was reactivated, and the client was satisfied with our services. Therefore, if you have encountered a similar erroneous deactivation, don’t hesitate to contact our company to reactivate your seller account immediately!
