Repeated Related Accounts Violation on Amazon: Successful Case Resolution

Today we will talk about mistakes and perseverance. We all make mistakes. Unfortunately, Amazon is no exception.

Story of the case: 2 years ago Account “A” was found to be related to account “B”. There was a long struggle, but with our efforts, Account “A” was restored.

Literally a couple of months later, the client returned to us shocked, because Account “A” got deactivated again, although there was no suspicious activity whatsoever. But Amazon decided to make the account’s life more … “spicy”.

On the calls with Account Health team members, we learned that the connection is to the same Account “B” (long time no see, Account “B”). We called the Seller Support Team, made supports raise their voices, wrote appeals, and applied different strategies. When patience snapped, more evil appeals and corresponding calls went into battle.

The appeal consisted of a long and voluminous letter, where the screenshots were provided as evidence that the connection between Accounts “A” and “B” had already been broken. It wasn’t the PoA that everybody know. It was a big angry letter because Amazon did not want to read our beautiful appeals.

After several attempts, it was decided to contact third-party services that help businesses. And a miracle happened – we received a response from Amazon, where it was written: “Your Account has been reactivated. In our efforts to protect our community, we sometimes err on the side of caution. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.”

You say we should be happy,  but not when your Account was kept in the block by mistake for almost a whole year.

This story is not over because while the account was suspended, Amazon illegally charged the client’s money. Right now, Amazon is going around in circles asking for some information. Sometimes we receive “interesting” answers… The fight is still going on, but we will win.
